Trips
Cultural capital is "the essential knowledge that pupils need to be educated citizens, introducing them to the best that has been thought and said and helping to engender an appreciation of human creativity and achievement" as outlined by OFSTED.
At Babington Academy we believe that trips and visits form part of developing students cultural capital by giving students the opportunity to learn outside of the classroom and experience the world.
Throughout each year there are lots or trips and visits that take place; some of the trips in the past few years have included international visits to France and Italy, regular sports fixtures and athletics events, trips to national museums, geography field trips and lots of more local trips. Information regarding trips & visits will be shared with students and parents throughout the school year as they arise.
If you would like your child to take part in trips & visits, please ensure you have completed the online consent form, emailed to you via Evolve (it will come from Learning without Limits Academy Trust). This ensures we have up to date contact details and important medical information for your child.
