Gold School Games Award

We are delighted to have achieved the Gold School Games Mark, a national award which recognises schools for their commitment to physical education, school sport and active lifestyles.

The Gold award reflects the strength of our PE and sport provision across the school. It recognises the wide range of opportunities available to learners, the high levels of participation, and the work that takes place to make sport and physical activity accessible to all.

Throughout the year, learners have taken part in a variety of sporting activities, competitions and events. These opportunities help learners to develop confidence, teamwork, resilience and leadership skills, both in and beyond the classroom.

The award also recognises our commitment to developing young leaders, sports leaders, officials and volunteers, giving learners the chance to take responsibility, support others and contribute positively to school life.

Achieving Gold is a proud moment for our school community. It is a reflection of the enthusiasm of our learners, the dedication of staff, and the wider commitment to helping every learner enjoy the benefits of being active.
