Wonder Dome Planetarium

Our Year 7 learners enjoyed an unforgettable learning experience today as the Wonder Dome Planetarium visited the school.

Stepping inside the inflatable planetarium, learners were taken on a fascinating journey beyond Earth, discovering what life is like aboard the International Space Station and how astronauts live, work and carry out scientific research in space.

The interactive session also introduced learners to the exciting world of space exploration, highlighting the incredible advances being made in science and technology. As well as learning about the challenges of living and working in space, they explored the wide range of careers that contribute to space missions, from astronauts and engineers to scientists, technicians and mission controllers.

The visit brought science to life in a memorable and engaging way, encouraging curiosity, inspiring ambition and helping learners to see how the skills they develop today could lead to exciting opportunities in the future.
